| Mark Boyd | 3/4/2006 | Mark Alan Boyd, age 50, died March 4 in Sarasota, Fla. Born Nov. 27. 1955 (Xenia, Ohio) to Dr. Roger Boyd and the late Linda Atsalis.
Graduated Fairborn Baker High School 1974. Participated in football, track and Choraliers. Attended and played football at Wittenberg University. Received a B.S. in Education from the Ohio State University. Taught in Southwestern City Schools (Columbus, OH) where he coached football, wrestling and basketball.
Held many positions in the Sarasota Family YMCA (Sarasota. FL). Most recently Program Director of YMCA Character Development Schools. These programs received the Florida Department of Education's Proven Practice Award.
Survived by his father Dr. Roger Boyd of Fairborn, Ohio; daughters Molly (Chris) Fox of Glen Rock, Pa. and Kacey (Louis) Resto of Westminster, Md.; three grandchildren Madalyn, Zachary and Isaiah: sister Cary (Karl) Criss of Dublin, Ohio; brother John (Jacquelyn) Boyd of Irvine, Calif.: nieces Ashley, Emily and nephew Ryan.
Mark will be remembered for deeply caring about children and family, and for his tremendous sense of humor Ð a beloved son, father, brother and friend.
Memorial service at the Jennings Funeral Home 5750 Swift Rd. Sarasota, FL 34231 is Friday, March 10 at 11 a.m.

| Ben Kline | 4/15/2007 | Ben was 51 when he died. He was born November 12, 1955 in Springfield Ohio to parents Robert (deceased in 1977) and Jaclyn Kline.
His main passion was music and he played guitar and was in choir in high school. He attended many colleges but did not receive a degree.
He served in the Army in 1982-83 but received a medical discharge. Ben suffered from schizophrenia much of his adult life but was able to work in
maintenance for the Ohio State University, although he was on medical retirement at the time of his death. He was also a diabetic, and the coroner
believed heart disease plus the diabetic influence contributed to his death.
He is survived by his mother, sister Denise (Jerry) Derge of Fairborn, brother Loren (Lisa) of Canton, Ga. and niece Jessica (Brent) Derge Rossman
of Columbus Ohio and Joel Derge, also of Fairborn. His funeral was held at Jackson Lytle Ingling Williams in Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, and is survived by his mother, 3 brothers and 3 sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration was held in Vandalia, Ohio on January 22. |
